Mura – A town with history.

It is a small and pretty town, documented in 959 that retains its charm with medieval squares and cobbled streets that have grown around the Romanesque church of St. Martin dating from 928. The etymology of Mura comes from the Latin “murus” which means wall, wall or fortress. Such name recalls the existence in these lands a walled Iberian and Roman periods, aimed to the defense of the habitants.
